4. Medicare Supplements are very different from Medicare Advantage Plans (Medicare Part C). Make sure you understand the difference and choose the option that will best serve you.

5. If you have a Part D (Medicare Prescription Drug Plan) it is always separate from your Medicare Supplement Insurance. If you are on Medicare Advantage (Part C) your drug plan may or may not be combined with your part C plan.
